yarn-along

~ Two of my favorite things are knitting and reading, and the evidence of this often shows up in my photographs.  I love seeing what other people are knitting and reading as well. So, what are you knitting or crocheting right now? What are you reading?~ Ginny
I'm still working on the campfire shawl ...it's one of those "long term" projects which take few rows here and there...I hope to have it finished for this autumn... maybe.
I'm back to my long-ago-forgotten decision to stop buying clothes and try to make/sew/knit/crochet as much as I can - basically reuse-reduce-recycle - so there will be a lot of "make-over" projects for my old clothes once I get home...exciting right?

I'm currently reading Small animal Surgery by Theresa Welch Fossum... for my surgery exam on Friday...

here's link to my Campfire shawl on ravelry

also...my best friend's re-decorating her bedroom and she said she'd like to have a crocheted blanket!!!!!! I get to crochet a blanket!!! - another one!!! yay!!! it's like my most favorite kind of project ever...
so here's my Pinterest board where I've added ton of crochet-blanket inspirations lately... just for fun...
what's your favorite kind of projects? - I could make millions of blankets if there was enough people to want one... :D

  1. I love making baby hats! There are so many different and cute patterns out there and they knit up so fast!

    Love your shawl, it's amazing.
We often buy our clothes second hand - partly because of the cost and partly to recyle. I hate to buy clothes from companies that inevitably participate in human oppression. But I don't typically have time or talent to make many of our clothes, so second hand is the closest I can get to that.
