same turquoise radiator,

maybe just a shade darker

that WAS the plan

new quilt, new pillows

new year

still everything's the same

christmas lights

tons of school books

rainy mornings

chilly afternoons

nights filled with need

of a simple hug

which needs

to be hang up

above my bed

there is too much

of blue in my life

blue sky

blue tears

blue heart

I wish they were

at least turquoise

and yet, the sun's shining

and world keeps going on
