just to "review" my knowledge about basics of world, I'm reading Bill Bryson's book...funny, but informative :)

I've been spinning yarn again, and knitting using the handspun yarn...  I love the whole process of washing and combing and spinning, it makes me feel good to make something from scratch...

  1. A Short History of Nearly Everything is one of my all-time favorite books; Bill Bryson is both funny and educational. Thank you for the sale on your Christmas buttons. I just purchased the one in your photo since I've admired it for a long time. I hope I can find a project worthy of it!

  2. There really is nothing like hand spun yarn. I have so much in my stash that I really need to use soon. It's one of my New Year resolutions!

  3. Gorgeous buttons!
One of these days I`d love to be able to learn to spin. Right now i`m only able to dye my own, which is a different satisfaction. Seeing the wool from start to finish though has to be a real treat!
