coffee dyed yarn

so I came home from school today and after a week of late-night studying and 10 hour-school-time, I felt like doing something different than studying...at least for a while...

so I dyed my left over white cotton...with coffee...the yarn was white- totally white at first...

it took just a couple of minutes to set everything...
kenyan coffee - yummy...

I made 3 cups...

and waited one hour ... and studied for tomorrow - we have Genetics in the morning, Thank God I understand all we do (so far)

and I've knitted first few rows of this scarf ...

you can't really see it on the photo but the yarn has pretty golden tint now - I hoped it would be darker but it works well with the red yarn I'm using for the scarf.

and that's what I did today...
