yarn along -spring time!

~ Two of my favorite things are knitting and reading, and the evidence of this often shows up in my photographs. I love seeing what other people are knitting and reading as well. So, what are you knitting or crocheting right now? What are you reading? Take a single photo and share it either on your blog or on Flickr. Leave a link below to share your photo with the rest of us! ~ Ginny

still working on my enterlac cowl (I'd better hurry because it's getting pretty warm outside!)
and yesterday I freaked out and added one "row" of orange-y-red yarn because I didn't think I'll have enough of that rainbow yarn, but it turns out it will be just enough to finish it :)

and I'm not reading anything right now (as my new book Paradise lost and Paradise regained didn't come in the mail yet - should be here tomorrow so it didn't make it to this yarn along - I'll tell you about it next week)
-so I'm not reading, but I've been writing lots of letters and it's about time so send out the Easter postcards :)
I LOVE WRITING LETTERS!!! - I could write one to you too! you know, if I had your address - too bad I don't... :D

  1. I love that cowl! I did look at enterlac on Youtube and I think I understand how to do it. It's on my summer to do list.

  4. Your cowl is looking so beautiful!!! You're jealous of my sweater (which by the way is tiny) and you are knitting this??? Well, then teach me how to knit enterlac because it just looks freaky...in a good way.

  5. I always freak out near the end of projects not worried that I will have enough yarn!

  6. What a great cowl! The colors are lovely. My one experience with entrelac knitting was not nearly so pretty. It looked very retro in a bad, bad way and was quite uneven. I felt certain I would never try it again... I think I've changed my mind.

  9. That looks incredible! I'll have to google entrelac. I like to write letters too, one of my New Year's resolutions was to write a letter to soldier stationed overseas every week this year. So far, so good!
